Pasupatheeswarar Temple - Jyesta devi

Jyesta devi who is elder sister of sri mahalaxmi can be seen in some siva temples of south india.People pray to jyesta devi for removing laziness present in them.

A temple situated in a place called thirukondeeswaram is special such that people who are facing obstacles in marriage worship her to get married soon.Lord siva is called pasupatheeswarar.Amman is called santha nayagi.

People who are troubled with high fever worship jurahareswarar by offering hot water bath, rice and milagu rasam  for getting remedy. People  offer new clothes and abhisegam for Jyesta devi, after the fulfillment of their wishes.

This temple is situated at a place called nannilam which is on the route of kumbakonam to nagapattinam via nannilam.
