Virutcha shastra - Ketu dasa mercury bhukti

The eighth and last sub period that comes in ketu dasa is mercury bhukti.According to virutcha shastra, one has to plant vathanarayana tree to avoid the ill effects of ketu dasa mercury subperiod.It is called வாதநாராயண மரம் in tamil language.

The plant has to be planted in places like front of the house, road sides and campus of public charities.The plant has to be planted during first wednesday of ketu dasa mercury bhukti in the morning. Before a day for plantation little bit of  green gram should be immersed in water.After plantation green gram water should be given to the plant.Green gram should be given to cow.
